We are so excited to welcome dancers back for our 4th Annual MH Summer Lab. This training experience brings dancers together from Columbus and surrounding communities for unforgettable days of movement, mentorship and inspiration.

​

At Movement Haven, we believe dance grows stronger through collaboration, community and shared experiences. Our Summer Lab was created to give dancers access to working industry professionals from across the country while creating an environment that is challenging, supportive and deeply inspiring.

 

This workshop is open to all dancers in the community looking to expand their training, push beyond their comfort zone and learn from artists with a variety of professional backgrounds, teaching styles and movement approaches.

Junior Lab: July 23–25, 2026

Created especially for younger dancers ready to grow, explore and be inspired in a fun and encouraging environment. Our Junior Lab dancers will train with guest artists through age-appropriate technique classes, movement workshops and creative experiences designed to build confidence, artistry and versatility.

 

This is the perfect opportunity for young dancers to experience the excitement of a convention-style setting while still feeling supported, challenged and motivated every step of the way.

• 9am-12pm

  • Full Lab Registration: $300

  • Daily Drop-In: $150

Teen + Senior Lab: July 23–26

Designed for intermediate and advanced dancers looking for an immersive training experience with working professionals from across the dance and performing arts industry.

Each day dancers will:

• Train in technique and workshop-style classes

• Explore a variety of dance styles and movement experiences

• Learn directly from industry professionals

• Build confidence, versatility and artistry

• End the day with a live Q&A session with the guest artist

• ​

Whether your dancer is preparing for convention season, looking to grow technically or simply wanting an inspiring summer experience - Summer Lab is designed to challenge and motivate dancers at every level.

Why Summer Lab?

One of the things we are most proud of is the collaborative environment Summer Lab creates.

This experience was built around the belief that dancers grow stronger when they train together — learning from one another, supporting one another and sharing space with dancers outside of their own studio walls.

Summer Lab is about more than classes. It’s about:
