Madelyn Biro
Assistant Director
Madelyn is originally from Dayton, Ohio where she began dancing at Dayton Dance Conservatory, as well as trained from artists from Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Dayton Dance Conservatory, Dayton Ballet, and more. She attended The Ohio State University and has taught and choreographed for multiple studios around central Ohio. Currently, Madelyn is working on obtaining her certification for personal training with a focus in dance strength training. While she works full-time as a Certified Neurophysiological Monitoring technician during the day, Madelyn is excited to continue teaching and share her positive mentality at Movement Haven!
Lexi Clark-Stilianos
Lexi Clark-Stilianos (she/her) holds a multidisciplinary Master of Fine Arts in Dance degree from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Dance Education from Bowling Green State University. She is currently a Resident Choreographer at Movement Haven. Lexi has been a guest artist and choreographer at College of DuPage, Wittenberg University, Ohio Northern University, Bowling Green State University, Ohio State’s Brazil Tour Group, the School Tour Performing Company, and countless studios across the US and Australia. She has performed for Mashup Contemporary Dance Co., Mattidance, Silverlake Contemporary Ballet, Open Window Dance, and Norah Zuniga Shaw among others. She has been teaching and choreographing for over 17 years at private studios, dance festivals, community programs, student organizations, and university departments. She currently is the Artistic Director and founder of STILGO dance + tech, a Columbus based professional multidisciplinary dance company and works full time at Ohio State in the Department of Dance and Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design. She loves working with teenage to college level artists to share her love and deep knowledge of the art of dance.

Sophie Miklosovic
Sophie Miklosovic, Michigan native, is currently a Company Artist with BalletMet. Her pre-professional training was under Magaly Suarez, The Art of Classical Ballet, Pompano Beach, FL. Her early ballet training was developed in Michigan by Valentina Barsukova,
Valentina’s Ballet and Meg Paul, Complexions Ballet Associate Artistic Director. Her early contemporary training was with Liz Schmidt-Mazurkiewicz, Spotlight Dance Works. Since joining BalletMet in 2017, at age 17, she has performed leading roles in Swan Lake,
Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Don Quixote, among others. She has also performed works by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Edwaard Liang, David Nixon, Christopher Wheeldon, Justin Peck, Twyla Tharp, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Ulysses Dove,
Amy Siewert, Andrea Schermoly, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Alexander Ekman. As a professional guest artist, she has performed principal roles from Swan Lake, La Bayadere, Don Quixote, Le
Corsaire, Flames of Paris, The Nutcracker.
Her awards include the Gold Medal at the World Ballet Competition in Orlando, the Morning Star Foundation Award at the Beijing IBC in China, 1st Place, Gold Medal at the Cuban IBC & festival in Havana, she also received the Director’s Legacy Award at the Universal Ballet Competition and was a Top 3 Scholarship winner, at the National Society of Arts & Letters, En
Pointe Classical Ballet Competition. In 2019, Sophie was named as one of Dance Magazine’s Top 25 to Watch.
Taylor Breen
Taylor is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she started dancing at the age of 2 at the Abby Lee Dance Company. She joined the competition team at age 6, competing in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. She's danced with Dance Expressions By Erica, Ohio University Dance Team, and competed at NDA in Orlando, Florida. Taylor taught for her previous studios in Pittsburgh and began her career in Columbus as the head coach of the Liberty High School Dance Team.​​​​​

Emily Hill
Originally from Michigan, Emily Hill (she/her) is a dance performer and choreographer who recently graduated from Western Michigan University with dual degrees in Dance and Marketing. Currently, Emily is dancing in her second season with Whirlwind Dance Company, a contemporary dance company based in Columbus, Ohio under the direction of Joshua Manculich, where she is gaining experience in performance, teaching, and choreography. She is also a dance teacher for Movement Haven, a local dance studio in Dublin, OH. Throughout her time at WeMU, Emily had the privilege of working with Yue-Yin and Peridance Contemporary Dance Company and has performed works choreographed by Kiki Lucas and Kimberly Cooper of Decidedly Jazz DanceWorks, as well as works choreographed by faculty members Monique Haley and Seyong Kim. In the summer of 2023, Emily danced with CPR Dance: Inhale Movement, a contemporary company based in southwest Michigan in their sophomore season. Her choreographic endeavors have been presented at Kalamazoo Art Hop Festivals and in professional company shows for Whirlwind. She recently premiered her new work, “Shifting Spaces” in Whirlwind Dance Company’s Jamboree Choreographic Soiree in the summer of 2024.

David Ward
David Ward, will soon begin his 19th season dancing professionally as a leading dancer with BalletMet in Columbus Ohio, where he lives with his wife and two children. David was born in London, England where he received his early training, attending The Royal Ballet School programs, and later graduating from the English National Ballet School. David began his professional career with Northern Ballet in Leeds, England, where he was promoted to soloist. He moved to the US to join BalletMet in Columbus as a leading dancer. Mr Ward has performed as a Guest Principal with Oklahoma City Ballet and joined companies performing lead roles in productions across the USA. He originated roles in many world premiere creations including Prince in Edwaard Liang’s Cinderella and James Kudelka’s Rite of Spring. He has performed leads in an array of diverse classical and contemporary repertoire including the works of George Balanchine, Jerome Robins, Michael Pink, Edwaard Liang, David Nixon and Christopher Wheeldon. Outside of dancing professionally David enjoys teaching and coaching. He was the Répétiteur for Edwaard Liang’s full length production of Romeo and Juliet at Ballet San Antonio. Co Artistic Director for the Yellowstone dance project in Montana. A Guest teacher and summer Intensive faculty for a range of both Ballet companies and schools throughout the US. Most recently David choreographed a full length production of Dracula based on Bram Stoker’s novel for Louisiana Delta Ballet company.
